We’re very proud our design of Hauser & Wirth 22nd Street has earned an Honor Award for Architecture in the 2022 AIANY Design Awards! Announcing the award, the jury commended the power of the building in its ability to put art in a civic landscape through the operability of large windows at the ground and second levels, inviting the public realm into the building and vice versa for art to be seen within the context of the city. They appreciated the section and plan for its subtle modulation and range of gallery sizes offering different curatorial experiences for the public, articulated in such a way to always put the art first.
