We are thrilled to announce that our ongoing DEP Gowanus CSO “Combined Sewer Overflow” Facility project, received a 2019 Excellence in Design award from New York City’s Public Design Commission (PDC). The project elevates an infrastructure project to a public amenity with spaces for education and engagement, and provides new recreation space & waterfront esplanade inspired by the canal’s past.

The project is a collaboration with landscape architects DLANDstudio, Hazen and Sawyer Engineers, and the Department of Environmental Protection.
