Architectural Designer (German speaking)

The firm is currently seeking Architectural Designers for full time employment.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
  • 3 to 5 years of architectural-related experience required, preferably in all phases of design and construction. German speaking ability, and familiarity with technical architectural vocabulary in the German language. Prior architectural experience will be considered relative to compensation.
  • Must have solid conceptual and design process skills and good problem-solving abilities.
  • AutoCAD proficiency required.
  • Skill using 3-D modeling programs including RHINO and REVIT are required
  • Proficiency in Vray required, experience with Lumion a plus.
  • Experience working on cultural, commercial and residential desired
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Virtual Reality Artist

Selldorf Architects is looking for a Virtual Reality (VR) Artist, preferably with a background in architecture, and a desire to focus on the evolving role of imagery in architectural communication. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the industry standard software programs and demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of using art and media to represent relationships between people, buildings, and landscapes. The artist will work closely with and collaborate with architects and designers in the creation of evocative, powerful experiences and imagery.


  • Experience: 2-4 years Visualization and Virtual Reality work
  • Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree; background in Architecture and/or fine arts a plus
  • Software: expert working knowledge Unreal Engine 4, 3D Studio Max or Maya. Experience with Rhino with V-Ray or Maxwell render, Photoshop, Illustrator; Revit and Autocad a plus; should be familiar with PBR software’s like Quixel Suite or Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated, and willing to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
