Selldorf Architects

This apartment is located in a pre-war building and was designed for a couple, a gallerist and an editor who love to entertain. The design accommodates the couple's art collection and creates spaces for groups of guests both large and small. The choice of white walls and carpet further enhances the feeling of openness and provides a clean, neutral

backdrop for displaying paintings and photographs. Selldorf used the art collection to establish a sense of continuity throughout the apartment. Custom furnishings from the Vica line complement the overall design. (Photos: Manolo Yllera)
